Description of Responsibilities
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for efficient order fulfillment and shipment.

Shipping and Receiving Clerks
Responsibilities include the following:
1. Protects all company assets in the warehouse at all times
2. Supervise and guide team members in daily operations to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
3. Monitor workflow and productivity levels of the operations, identifying areas for process improvement.
4. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
5. Train current and new employees on operational procedures and safety protocols, monitor staff compliance, counsel team members, and evaluate employees' overall performance
6. Make sure all necessary reports and records are complete, timely, and accurate.
7. Manage and execute all product flow and improve inventory handling space allocation to ensure effective order fulfillment processes.
8. Manage product inventory and ensure stock rotation (First in / First out method) in order to receive shipments and review and process orders accurately.
9. Coordinate repairs or maintenance of warehouse facility and equipment.
10. Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
11. Manage relationships with external vendors in a professional manner to ensure the highest efficiency of operations.
12. Provide proactive guidance and constructive feedback of Shipping & Receiving Clerks, including providing annual performance appraisals.
13. Comply with and adhere to the standards of this role as required by ACHC, Board of Pharmacy, Board of nursing, Home Health Guidelines (Title 22), Medicare, Infusion Nurses Society, NHIA, and other regulatory agencies, as applicable.
14. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. 2 Revised November 2024
15. Participate in the pharmacy’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
16. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested.
17. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
18. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
19. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities and certification requirements.
20. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years supervising Warehouse functions within healthcare/pharmacy.
2. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
3. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
4. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
5. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Must have a High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalent Diploma (G.E.D.) or Higher.
2. Warehouse and/or shipping & receiving experience required
3. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
